Beautiful in every way, this brooch was crafted to very high standards of quality and finish in the Victorian period, with almost 3 carats of clean and sparkly diamonds ( the dark areas on my photos are reflections, there is no dark spots on the diamonds whatsoever), the center is a beautifully proportioned old European cut, with old mine cuts in the surround and rose cut accents on the tips. The star has a removable brooch attachment complete with a safety pin, you could add a bail or hook to wear it as a pendant.

Dimensions: Weights 10.76 grams ( with the brooch attachment), diameter is 35mm

Marks/metal:No marks, test gold on the bottom and silver on top

Stones: 1 Center oec is 5.5mm in diameter and 3.32mm deep, estimated 0.64ct , the added combined weight of all 79 diamonds add to between 2.8CT and 2.97CTW

Color/clarity: High quality near colorless G-H and VS2-SI1 average ( minus the tiny rose cuts, they are too small to grade) there are just a few odd ones that appear slightly warmer I-J and or SI2-I1, to they eye they all appear clean and very white.
